AUD AER

The Australian dollar as digital cryptocurrency — backed one-for-one by a real dollar.

The backing is verified on-chain every 60 seconds, not once a quarter.

What is AUD AER?

AUD AER is a digital token designed to always be worth one Australian dollar, because one Australian dollar is always held in reserve for it.

It is issued by Aeredium Management Pty Ltd on Iridium, Aeredium's high-throughput settlement blockchain, and is designed to move at the speed of the internet while holding the value of the currency Australians already trust. Every token is created ("minted") only when a matching Australian dollar enters reserve, and every token presented for redemption is destroyed ("burnt") the moment its dollar is paid back out.

The ratio of reserves to tokens on issue is always equal to one — and unlike any conventional stablecoin, that claim is not something you are asked to take on trust. It is checked by machine, on-chain, every 60 seconds, and published for anyone to verify.

The reserve model

Fully backed, always

For every AUD AER on issue, one fiat Australian dollar is held in reserve. Until reserves reach $5 million, backing is held entirely in Australian dollar liquidity.

Government-grade assets

As reserves grow beyond $5 million, the excess is invested in Treasury bills, bonds and equivalent instruments issued by the Australian Government, moving toward a target composition of 20% liquidity and 80% Australian Government securities.

Honest revenue

Aeredium's operations are financed by the yield on those government securities — not by lending out reserves, and never by putting the backing of your dollars at risk.

Transparency you can check yourself

Aeredium's AI monitoring system performs a full reconciliation of outstanding AUD AER against reserves every 60 seconds and attests the result on-chain. If the ratio is not exactly one, issuance halts — automatically, mechanically, before a problem can grow.

Conventional stablecoins publish an accountant's snapshot once a month or once a quarter. AUD AER publishes a machine-verified attestation about 1,440 times a day.

Watched by four AI models, always

AUD AER is continuously examined by four independent AI models — one auditing the books, one hunting fraud, one recognising patterns and forecasting stress, and one attesting regulatory compliance including KYC and AML. Their findings are signed on-chain every 60 seconds, under patented technology.

Built on hardware, not promises

AUD AER is minted inside tamper-evident hardware enclaves. The cryptographic key that controls issuance never exists anywhere in complete form — it is generated as mathematical shares in separate hardware environments, and two of three must cooperate to sign anything. There is, in the most literal sense, no key to steal, and no administrator who can quietly change the rules.
